The need for pure water is world-wide. In some countries, the mortality rate is very high because of diseases spread through impure water. Even city water that meets minimum standards contains impurities so small they cannot be tasted or seen with the naked eye. Yet they are still present. No special tools are needed to install it. Once the unit is turned on, it always contains an ample supply of filtered water at the flip of a switch at the faucet. Countertop water filters work by running the water through a series of filters before returning to the faucet. Because of the amount of time the water is in the filter, a greater amount of contaminants are removed.

Though replacements for the filter are inevitable, the saving is still significant over the cost of bottled water. Also, consider the convenience of turning on the faucet, flipping a level, and having an endless supply of clean, pure water.
